Regent Seven Seas Cruise Reviews 2024 UPDATED: Ratings of Regent Seven Seas Cruises

The cruise company is known for its all-inclusive luxury—everything from food and drinks and gratuities to shore excursions and pre- and post-cruise packages are included. You’re welcomed on board with Champagne; you’re offered a flute after excursions; you even have a glass in your hand when the cruise meets a new port—there’s no skimping. Regent’s personable and well-trained crew members are up to the task of matching the upscale ambience of its ships. Guests aboard Seven Seas Splendor can expect waiters, bartenders, and stateroom attendants to greet them by name and know how they like their coffee and what they like to drink.
Seven Seas Voyager Review
The spa is certainly worth a visit on a sea day, or on a day when you might not feel like going into port. The treatment rooms are serene and secluded, and I received a top-notch massage. The spa also has amenities open to everyone on board at no charge, including an aromatherapy steam room, chill room, and infrared sauna. Right behind the spa on the aft deck of the ship is a small deck with an infinity pool, the perfect place to soak and watch the sunset after a relaxing treatment. That means skirts or slacks with blouses or sweaters, pant suits or dresses for ladies; slacks and collared shirts for men. Jeans, T-shirts, baseball caps, shorts and sneakers aren't appropriate in any public space after 6 p.m.

When a consultant called me to review my trip, I explained my disappointment, and he referred me to another number. I explained if I was dissatisfied, the cruise line should call me. Depending on cabin category booked, items such as flight upgrades, hotel stays and transfers to the port might be included. The final night of the cruise allows passengers to dress more casually, but most stick with elegant casual. Passengers on Seven Seas Explorer are generally 60 and above, with a heavy percentage (around 80) hailing from North America.

The space also serves as a venue for daily trivia and a place to catch live piano music in the evening. The result is Regent Seven Seas Cruises' brand-new Seven Seas Grandeur, which is one of the most expensive cruise ships afloat. It cost the cruise line more than $517 million, including $9 million for the 1,600-piece art collection, which features a custom-designed Faberge egg. All Regent employee gratuities are included in the cruise fares.
Exciting excursions all included and many we would not have dared to do on our own but with Regent’s umbrella over us we felt secure. Our last cruise around the Caribbean on the beautiful Splendor was brilliant! Their older ships are still luxurious and have a welcoming ambiance. They occasionally need some tlc which is only to be expected. Any problems we have encountered have been dealt with quickly and by polite helpful crew.
I've thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed all the Live reviews. To be honest, I didn't even think of looking at the reviews. I think I've just become accustomed to Live reviews and they have become my go-to for the cruise lines I'm interested in. My wife and I booked a cruise and she later became pregnant. Regent refuses to allow her to embark since she will be 24 weeks pregnant. They also refuse to provide a refund or any kind of travel credits for a future cruise.
Guests can choose any of the company’s open-seating restaurants which serve a variety of dishes that suits their appetite. Their continental inspired dishes which are paired with complimentary wines and spirits are served in the course of the entire voyage. Prime 7 is the ship’s steakhouse, redesigned with influences from New York City’s classic 20th-century steakhouses. Chartreuse celebrates classic French cooking and glamour with a dining room inspired by the Parisian metro’s art nouveau stations and Coco Chanel’s designs. The entrance to Pacific Rim, a pan-Asian specialty restaurant serving sushi, dim sum, and more, is marked by an impressive bonsai cherry tree sculpture by Savoy Studios.

Regent Seven Seas Cruise Reviews
Our first foray into cruising so took advice to get what I understood to be a Tier 1 cruise line - who provide “unlimited shore excursions”. That, my friends, is not Tier 1 to me - very much praying that things improve!! It is also concerning that Regent clearly do not respond to comments/criticisms on Trustpilot - that is not a customer centric organisation that are concerned about reputation.
Each evening, a "country club casual" dress code applies, and shorts, jeans, deck shoes and tracksuits are all acceptable. Bare feet are only acceptable on the Pool Deck, and bathing suits are not allowed in the restaurants or lounges at any time -- though they can be worn at the Pool Grill and Bar. Onward, an "elegant casual" dress code applies, with skirts, smart trousers or trouser suits with blouses or sweaters for women and collared shirts with optional sports jackets for men. Jeans aren't allowed in restaurants or lounges in the evenings. There are seven unique dining venues and several bars located throughout the ship, and specialty restaurants are included in the rate.
Passengers in top-tier suites have a personal butler at their service to keep their in-suite bars stocked, deliver late afternoon canapes, and deal with mundane tasks such as restaurant reservations and clothes pressing. Libraries are being phased out on most mainstream cruise ships, but I was pleased to learn that there's one on Deck 11 of Seven Seas Grandeur. It's a dark, cozy space with wall-to-wall books, tables for perusing coffee-table titles, comfy seating and even a couple of alcoves for people who need to focus.
There will be special prices on some days, but expect to cough up as much as $250 for a massage and $200 for a facial. The steam and sauna rooms—tucked inside the spa with a changing area and a shower—are free. Two specialty restaurants on board require reservation for dinner. Chartreuse is a French-inspired restaurant, hidden at the back on Deck 6. Prime 7 is an upscale American Steakhouse that offers a menu with seafood and steaks. The Mariner has 348 suites spread out from Deck 7 to Deck 11, and each cabin has a balcony.
This cruise line prides itself on its exceptional service. The line employs a staff-to-guest ratio of 1-to-1.5, which means that there is always someone available to assist you with anything you need. The line also offers a range of personalization options, such as customized shore excursions and in-room dining experiences.
Evenings start with live music and canapés at Horizon Lounge, which has gorgeous views of the waters. Watch the sunset with specially-crafted cocktails at the Observation lounge, which is located on the top deck and has unbeatable views from the front of the ship. For pre-dinner cocktails, you can head to the Mariner Lounge—chic and dimly-lit with a pianist performing soothing music.

In locations where the port is away from the city center, free shuttles are usually provided. In Regent Seven Seas Cruises, they offer free unlimited shore excursions available in every port of call. Travellers can take as many excursions in a day and during their voyage whichever works with their time and adventure preference. Each destination calls for different types of excursions that will let travellers discover its culture, history, and cuisine with the help of the cruise line’s local guides.
